Featuring Guest Speaker: Kiliii Yüyan
Photographer and storyteller Kiliii Yüyan explores a central question: How are Indigenous peoples so often so good at conservation?
In Guardians of Life, he showcases Indigenous stewardship in action—from the coral reefs of Palau to the steppes of Mongolia, the rainforests of the Amazon, and the sea ice of Greenland. Each community demonstrates what is possible when Indigenous values, traditional ecological knowledge, and modern strategies combine to protect the lands and ecosystems that sustain life.
