We will also hear from Mike Dieterich, a sustainability advisor focused on affecting change instead of documenting it. With a background in environmental science, he started in the field but shifted to shaping the built environment to reduce human impact. He is a committee member of the Explorers Club’s groundbreaking sustainability initiative, helping ensure that exploration goes hand in hand with protecting the planet and respecting local cultures.
